The Memphis Grizzlies just got their white whale. Ja Morant and Co. have been the hottest team in the NBA of late and validated just that with a resounding win over the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night.

Ja Morant put the proverbial nail in the coffin when he powered in for a bucket plus the foul to put the Grizzlies up big with a little over 30 seconds left in the game. In the heat of the moment, Morant also gave an icy cold stare at a couple of young fans in the stands who were unfortunately wearing Warriors jerseys.

Ja Morant spoke out on the moment after the game, setting the record straight that those fans, young as they might be, should've been rocking Grizzlies threads.

“He was disrespectful with that jersey on. We Memphis. It looked like he wanted to cheer, but he had that jersey on. I apologize to him, but in that moment, bro, take that jersey off and then dap me up.”

The Grizzlies star at the very least wanted to offer them a consolation present for being shown up in an arena filled with thousands of fans.

“Somebody find his information. I’ll send him one myself.”

Something tells me those kids will be rocking Ja Morant jerseys for their next Grizzlies game instead.
