The Golden State Warriors may have faced off against the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals, but given some of the headlines coming out since then, you'd think it was the Memphis Grizzlies that they just went to war with.

There was Klay Thompson revealing that a Jaren Jackson Jr. tweet from back in March was still fueling him, admitting that it left him “pissed off” and winning the title felt like vindication.

Then there's Draymond Green responding to Ja Morant claiming that the Grizzlies were in the Warriors' heads, taking a jab at Memphis real estate values at that.

It's in the NBA's best interest to parlay said beef into some on-court action. And what better way than the NBA Christmas Day games. One fan suggested that with all the beefing going on, a Grizzlies-Warriors showdown on December 25 is inevitable. Ja Morant was all for it, calling for the champs to come down to Memphis.

But Draymond was quick to remind the Grizzlies star that one of the perks of being the defending champions is you get to host your Christmas Day matchup. Safe to say Ja Morant wasn't backing down from the challenge of coming into the Warriors' house and stealing a win like the Grinch trying to steal Christmas.

“I'm coming to you then. Tell em book dat shit. I'm on yo block,” responded the Grizzlies star.

Given the fireworks sure to go off in that one, it's potentially going to be New Year's Eve and Christmas Day wrapped into one for the Warriors fans in attendance.
