Ja Morant has been listed as doubtful for Monday's Game 4 against the Golden State Warriors, and based on Jaren Jackson Jr.'s comments, the knee injury of the Memphis Grizzlies star appears significant.

The Grizzlies have yet to unveil the full diagnosis on Morant's knee injury. While he already underwent an MRI, the team has not disclosed the results, with Taylor Jenkins saying they are still evaluating him.

It is still unknown if Morant will be able to warm up before Game 4 as hopes remain he can suit up for the Grizzlies.

However, if Jackson's latest remarks are to be considered, Morant doesn't look like he's in the condition to play. Per Drew Hill of the Daily Memphian, the Grizzlies big man admitted that Morant's injury is a “sad situation.” Jackson only found out about the full extent of the issue on Monday, and he said that they “will try to rally together for him.”

Does that mean Ja Morant will not be able to play in Game 4? Are the Grizzlies withholding his MRI results because the injury is significant?

Nothing has been confirmed as of the moment, but Jaren Jackson Jr.'s comments certainly won't raise hopes of Morant playing in Game 4 or even beyond.

Morant has been the X-factor for the Grizzlies this postseason, and without him, things could be way difficult for Memphis no matter how deep they are.
