The Memphis Grizzlies were unable to clinch a spot in the play-in round by losing to the Toronto Raptors on Sunday, but Ja Morant added several more incredible highlights to his reel as his Grizzlies attempted to make a big comeback.

Morant is known for his aerial theatrics, and he threw down a pair of nasty dunks in the fourth quarter:

Morant also played a part in another highlight-reel dunk, only this time it involved him throwing the ball off the backboard to Brandon Clarke:

It's unclear if Morant meant to do this, but it certainly worked out well.

Unfortunately, Morant's incredible plays weren't enough in a 108-99 loss. The Grizzlies trailed by 17 points going into the fourth quarter and trimmed that deficit to just three with 3:33 left, but the Raptors got their act together in crunch time to pull out the win.

While the rookie point guard wowed Grizzlies fans with these highlights, he actually struggled to a 7-of-19 shooting performance. Morant finished with 17 points and 10 assists.

The Grizzlies are now 33-38 on the season, which is a game ahead of the ninth-place Portland Trail Blazers and 1.5 games ahead of the Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs. Those margins will change on Sunday, with the Spurs in action against the New Orleans Pelicans and the Blazers facing the Philadelphia 76ers.

Memphis has to play the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks to finish up its seeding games.
