Memphis Grizzlies center Joakim Noah was feeling the love on his way out from Friday's victory over the Utah Jazz, bringing the home crowd to their feet in support of him.

Just seconds prior, Noah unleashed a hellacious slam over Jazz center Rudy Gobert, who boasts a prowess as one of the league's premier shot blockers, while also entering the night fifth in the league at over 2.2 blocks per contest. None of that intimidated Noah, who went for the cherry on top of the win and crammed on top of Gobert, causing a crowd frenzy.

Noah finished with seven points, eight rebounds, four assists and two blocks across his 21 minutes, drawing his first start of the season in his 37th game with the Grizzlies. Initially brought in as a backup for Marc Gasol, Noah has shared playing time in the frontcourt with youngsters Jaren Jackson Jr. and Ivan Rabb, alongside established veterans such as Gasol and Jonas Valanciunas.

Head coach J.B. Bickerstaff went outside the box Friday, tabbing both Noah and Valanciunas to the starting five. For Noah, it was his first regular season start since Feb. 4, 2017, when he was a member of the New York Knicks.

In 37 games with Memphis, Noah has averaged 6.7 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, proving that he might still have some productive basketball in the tank from age-34 on. He's likely to be given the opportunity to showcase that's the reality over the final 15 games with Memphis on the outside looking in at the playoff picture. Despite that reality, fans seem to love the energy Noah is bringing to the arena.
