The Memphis Grizzlies are in a funk, and Marc Gasol hasn't been helping matters.

The Grizzlies have lost nine of their last 10 games. During that stretch, Gasol has only shot 39 percent from the field.

But Memphis may have a found a solution to some of Gasol's shooting woes, per Ronald Tillery of the Commercial Appeal.

“It’s a conversation that we had,” interim coach J.B. Bickerstaff said. “We still want him to shoot 3's because he can stretch the floor. One of the things we talked about and the changes we’ve made is putting him on the post more. We’re playing through the post more. We’ve got to find that balance.”

Gasol is Memphis' best player. In fact, he's probably their only viable option right now because of their other dynamic player, Mike Conley, still out with an injury.

While Gasol is a more-than-capable three-point shooter, it would help the Grizzlies offense to put him down low. He's so good down there that he would demand double teams, which Gasol could exploit to get good shots for his teammates, thereby opening up his game.

The Grizzlies recently ended an 11-game losing streak, but they're far from being a good team. Any tweak to how the team plays can't hurt.
