Former Golden State Warriors swingman Andre Iguodala is now a member of the Miami Heat. The NBA champion was recently traded to South Beach by way of the Memphis Grizzlies, a team that he didn't play a single minute for this season. Now with the Heat as Miami continues to stay red-hot, Iguodala will be thrown right into the fire upon matching up against his former Warriors teammates on Monday evening, which includes All-Star big man Draymond Green.

With the Heat slated to make their way to the Bay Area on Monday evening, Iguodala will notably be returning to Northern California for the first time since departing the Warriors, who have since come back to Earth in a big way. With the attention already on Iguodala, the former Warriors standout was then forced to respond to some comments made by his former teammate in Green — in jest, of course.

Hardly coming as a surprise, Green previously started this back-and-forth exchange a little earlier in the day on Monday before the Heat met the Warriors.

Iguodala notably helped the Warriors reach five consecutive NBA Finals by way of earning five straight Western Conference Championships. Winning three NBA titles during that same span with the Toronto Raptors and Cleveland Cavaliers taking down the Warriors along the way, Iguodala was a key piece to a puzzle that is no longer put together. Now he will try to be part of the Heat in their playoff push.

Even with Green and company still in place, the 2019-20 campaign is already a lost one for the injured Warriors while Iguodala and the Heat seem to just be getting started.
