Seems like Miami Heat All-Star Bam Adebayo took teammate Jimmy Butler‘s most recent advice to heart. After Jimmy Buckets questioned his aggressiveness earlier this week, Bam, went back to his rim-rocking ways against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday at AmericanAirlines Arena.

Around the seven-minute mark of the second quarter between the two East teams, Adebayo found himself in an iso play on the right-wing against Nikola Vucevic. After using a brilliant screen from Duncan Robinson, Adebayo slipped past Vooch's defense and made a strong run to the rim.

The Heat's 6-foot-9 big man even caught a body on his way up, detonating for a vicious two-handed slam right over the top of Daniel Theis.

Sheesh.

That monster jam definitely earned Jimmy Butler's approval. After all, he wanted to see Adebayo be more aggressive and not just settle for perimeter jumpers.

Adebayo has indeed been in attack mode over the Heat's last few games. Following a resurgence right before the All-Star break, Miami has stagnated a bit going 5-5 in their last 10 games.

While Butler is not the type to point fingers, he does hold every one on the Heat roster accountable, especially Adebayo who is key to the Heat's success. In 53 games for Miami this season, the 23-year-old slotman has been averaging 19.0 points, 9.2 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.1 blocks.

The Heat would surely welcome more of these rim rattlers from Adebayo. His tenacity is just as important as his multi-faceted skillset when it comes to Miami's hopes of completing its unfinished business.
