Dwyane Wade hit another career milestone in spite of the Miami Heat's 106-82 loss to the Atlanta Hawks.

Wade made his 500th career three-pointer and became a member of an elite list that only includes Michael Jordan and his former teammate LeBron James. They are currently the only players in NBA history with at least 20,000 points, 5,000 assists, 4,000 rebounds, 1,500 steals, 800 blocks, and 500 made triples throughout their career, an Associated Press report via ESPN.

During the first quarter, Dwyane Wade received a video tribute from the Hawks and got a standing ovation from the crowd. He has made it known before the season began that this will be his final year in the NBA. The future Hall of Famer has won three NBA titles and also played in 12 All-Star games. He was part of the USA Basketball team that won the Gold Medal in the Beijing Olympics.

The 16-year veteran scored 11 points to go along with four rebounds and three assists in the loss.

Despite the defeat, the Heat remain at the sixth spot of the Eastern Conference standings with a 19-19 record. They have won 13 of their last 19 games.

The Hawks, who suffered a 144-112 beatdown at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks just recently, bounced back against the Heat. They were led by rookie Trae Young, who had 19 points, two rebounds, and two assists. DeAndre Bembry added 17 points, while Dewayne Dedmon scored 9 points and grabbed 11 boards.

The Heat struggled all game against the Hawks. They missed 20 of their first 22 three-point attempts and shot 14.7 percent from behind the arc and 35 percent overall.

Derrick Jones Jr. had 14 points off the bench. No one from the Heat scored more than that. Justice Winslow added 13 markers and five boards.
