During his illustrious NBA career, Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade had to guard a lot of special players. However, Kobe Bryant, Baron Davis and Richard “Rip” Hamilton were the three toughest for Flash:

Wade and Davis used to have a lot of battles when Davis was still on the New Orleans Hornets and Wade was just coming into the league with the Heat. Both players were so explosive at getting to the rim and finishing above traffic.

Wade isn't the only NBA guy who hated guarding Hamilton. The Detroit Pistons champion used to run around the court so much that he would take all of the energy out of his opponent and then would torch them on offense and defense. Let's not forget that Hamilton was a really good defender as well on the Pistons during his prime.

Of course, all NBA fans will cherish the memories they have of watching Wade and Bryant compete. Kobe tragically passed away along with his daughter Gigi and seven others in a helicopter crash in January. Wade and the entire NBA community are still getting over Bryant's passing.

As we all know, Wade is the best player in Heat franchise history and universally recognized as the third-best shooting guard in NBA history behind Michael Jordan and Kobe.

Wade, who retired with the Heat last season, finished his NBA career with a stat line of 22.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 5.4 assists. He won three titles with the Heat, was a 13-time All-Star and the 2006 Finals MVP after the Heat defeated the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals.
