Dwyane Wade, who will be retiring after this season, has accepted a reserve role for the Miami Heat. The three-time champion and All-Star guard has been averaging 14.3 points, 4.0 assists, and 3.8 rebounds in 25.6 minutes off the bench.

He's had quite a few highlights as a sixth man this season, including a game-winner against the Golden State Warriors in February, prompting a fan to ask him on Twitter if he's gunning for Sixth Man of the Year Award.

Wade responded to the question, endorsing someone else to win the said title.

Lou Williams has been phenomenal this season for the Los Angeles Clippers, averaging 20.3 points and 5.3 assists. He's one of the main reasons why the team will be making the playoffs despite not having an All-Star player.

Williams is considered by many as the best sixth man of all-time, and he has proven himself to be worthy of the recognition. Over the past couple of seasons, he has made significant improvement, especially on the offensive end, where he can be unstoppable when he wants to.

To some degree, Williams has been underrated throughout the course of his 14-year career. Some people claim that he should've been selected an All-Star at least once over the past three seasons.

But Lou doesn't dwell too much with All-Star snubs, as he's more focused in helping the Clippers make a deep run in the playoffs.

The league might not give Williams the proper recognition he deserves, but guys like Wade know what he's done and acknowledges him for it.
