The Miami Heat are the only team thus far to have beaten the league-leading Milwaukee Bucks twice this season. For Jimmy Butler, their wins over Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. simply mean that they can compete at the highest level.

Per John McCall of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Butler acknowledged how good the Bucks have been this 2019-20 campaign. Moreover, while he tried to play down their victories over the NBA-best Milwaukee squad by saying all teams have their bad days, the Heat star also emphasized that this experience will boost their confidence.

“Anybody could be beaten on any given day…. We made some shots, got some stops. They made some shots,” Butler shared. “That's a really good team over there. They've been really doing great things… both home and away. We take away from this that we can compete at the highest level. But we know that we have to play this way every day from here on out.”

In the 105-89 upset, the Heat held Antetokounmpo to a season-low 13 points on 6-of-18 shooting from the field. The reigning MVP just had six points at the end of the first half — his third-lowest-scoring half of the season.

Jimmy Butler himself had 18 points, six rebounds, and seven assists for Miami. Jae Crowder, whom they picked up at the trade deadline, had 18 points powered by six makes from downtown. Veteran guard Goran Dragic had 15 markers, while Bam Abedayo added 14 points and 13 rebounds.

The Heat have won three straight games and now sport a 39-22 record for fourth in the East. They'll end their five-game homestand on Wednesday when they host the Orlando Magic.
