Tim Tebow knows a thing or two about being a hyped quarterback. Trevor Lawrence is an entirely different level of prospect for the Jacksonville Jaguars, facing even more hype than Tebow ever did.

But Tebow, a former first round QB himself, saw all that he needed to see from Trevor Lawrence during his brief cup of coffee with the Jaguars.

The Florida Gators standout appeared on First Take opposite Stephen A. Smith, wherein he gave his prediction for Trevor Lawrence down the line. Safe to say Jaguars fans will want to tune in.

“Yes, I think Trevor absolutely will live up to the hype,” Tebow said of Lawrence. “He’s got an unbelievable talent. He’s got a great mindset. I think he’s a great young man. Everything about him, it was a joy playing with him. It’s a pleasure being around him. He is a really good kid that I think he’s gonna handle the pressure.

“I think he’s gonna handle Jacksonville. Jacksonville already is in love with him. He’s got a great wife, he’s got a great situation. He’s fitting into the city. Urban’s going to try to do everything to support him. I think he’s gonna have a great career.”

Trevor Lawrence headlines a 2021 QB class that looks to be headed for big things. But if he can even just approach his potential with the Jaguars, their fans won't ever regret taking him first overall.
