Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence is off to a hot start as he tries to avenge his heartbreaking collegiate loss against fellow QB Joe Burrow. The Jaguars, thanks to Lawrence, are up early in their Week 3 match-up against the Cincinnati Bengals as the two young signal-callers face one another once again in what's turning out to be an instant classic.

Lawrence, who's just playing his fourth professional game, is showing no signs of rookie jitters as he threw an impressive 50-yarder while escaping the Bengals' blitz.

This is the first time the two QBs are on the same field since back in their college days when Lawrence's Clemson Tigers ended their 29-game winning streak on a heartbreaking 45-25 loss against Burrow's LSU squad. That was Lawrence's first loss of his career which also ultimately sealed Burrow's incredible collegiate campaign.

After their impressive collegiate careers, both Lawrence and Burrow ended up as the first overall pick in their respective drafts. The Bengals snagged Burrow as their lottery pick in the 2020 NFL Draft while Lawrence was also the top pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and ended up in Jacksonville.

These two talented playmakers have been on very similar paths and it won't be surprising if both of them continue to battle it out for years to come.
