Lonzo Ball turned a lot of heads while making his way to their locker room inside Madison Square Garden on Tuesday. With the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks shown on national TV, the 20-year-old rookie decided it was the best time to troll Nas, and wear a hoodie with his face replacing the famous rapper’s on the design of one of his albums.

Ball’s fellow rookie from the Utah Jazz, Donovan Mitchell, could not believe that he trolled him like that, and he made it known via his Twitter account that he disapproves of what he did.

The former UCLA star already fired some shots directed at Nas in the past few months, as he called him already irrelevant in the hip hop scene, and that he is not one of the best rappers of all-time. That prompted a debate between his supporters and other fans, as well as Nas’ camp to respond to his statements, with his manager calling him “oatmeal face.”
With the Jazz and Lakers scheduled to meet two more times in the regular season, it will be very interesting to see how both first-year players will perform against each other. It will also be worth keeping an eye on if Ball will respond to Mitchell, which could start a fiery exchange between the two.
