The first-round series between the Utah Jazz and the Dallas Mavericks has turned out to be one of the most exciting matchups in the opening round of the playoffs. So much so, that it has Jazz part-owner and Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade itching to return to the basketball court.

After his Jazz went 1-2 down in the series against Luka Doncic and the Mavs, Wade took to Twitter to express his desire to un-retire:

“I wanted to hoop yesterday for the first time since I retired. Down 2-1 makes you feel alive!! Your hands are sweaty, your heart is beating at a difference pace, my mind is at peace because being down and counted out, is where I’m most comfortable!” Wade wrote in his tweet.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. It's not as if the three-time NBA champ is going to return to the NBA anytime soon. This was merely an expression from his end as he provided some insight about what it's like for him whenever he's faced with a deficit in a playoffs series. Apparently, D-Wade thrives when he's up against the ropes. He will be hoping to pass some of this resiliency to the Jazz when they try to take a 3-2 series lead against the Mavs on Monday night.
