During their playing days with the Utah Jazz, Karl Malone and John Stockton became one of the best duos in the NBA. Their familiarity with each other’s games was very evident on the floor, as they gave their opponents nightmare matchups whenever they competed against them.

What’s even more impressive was they were very effective on the court, and did their jobs without much flair. They are considered old school players, and have remained friends through the years. The two were even spotted watching the Auburn-LSU football match recently, where Malone’s wife, Kay, took to her Snapchat to show everyone how the two are still embracing the old-fashioned ways.

The two are obviously hardcore fans of older technology. Why not? It still gets the job done by making calls or receiving texts. This latest snap of John Stockton and Karl Malone perfectly describes how they played on the court as well — nothing fancy, but always got the job done, save for outdoing better technology known as Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls.

Malone and Stockton played alongside one another for 18 seasons, forming one of the best pairings not just in basketball, but in all of sports. They reached two Finals series together, and also had plenty of individual success. The Mailman is second on the all-time scoring list and was also a two-time MVP, while Stockton is the league's all-time leader in assists and steals.
