Adding to the New York Jets' disappointing 5-8 season, the team's blockbuster acquisition, running back Le'Veon Bell is upset with how he's being used in the Jets' offense.

After sitting out the 2018 season with the Pittsburgh Steelers due to contract issues, the three-time Pro Bowler agreed to a four-year $52.5 million contract with the Jets in March.

With Bell being arguably the best back in football in his years with the Steelers, most expected the 27-year-old to give a massive boost to the Jets offense.

And while Bell's season has certainly had its moments, most would agree that the former Steeler has been a disappointment in the Big Apple.

After a 22-6 loss to the Cincinatti Bengals in which Bell only received 10 carries, the running back voiced his frustrations stating that he wasn't getting enough carries and could return to his All-Pro form if he carried the ball more.

This season, through 12 games, Bell has 183 carries for 589 yards and three touchdowns on the ground, adding 403 yards and one touchdown as a pass catcher.

Bell's enjoyed his best season in 2017 where he earned first-team All-Pro honors and carried the ball a whopping 321 times for 1291 yards.

The 6-foot-1, 225-pound Le'Veon Bell has always been a heavy-volume type of guy and has had his best seasons when he is fed the ball — something that is clearly not being done in his first season as a Jet.

Injuries have played a factor in Bell's effectiveness over the years but for someone you're going to pay $52.5 million to only get an average of 15 carries a game, it's the complete opposite of Bell's early seasons in Pittsburgh.
