Heading into Oct. 27's NFL trade deadline, New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson has been subject to much speculation of a move out of the Big Apple. After recording four receptions for 43 yards in a 29-15 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, he opened up about the trade rumors.

Said Anderson after the loss, via Matt Stypulkoski of NJ.com:

“I can’t call it. It’s a business. God forbid that was my last game as a Jet, it would be disappointing to go out like this. I don’t want it to ever get misconstrued or mistaken that my all has been to get us to the top, to the Super Bowl. Hopefully I’m still here and I can continue to try to pursue and work on that. But I can’t call it.”

On if the possibility of being traded has been on his mind:

“No. That’s a distraction. I’m here and now, you know what I’m saying? I’m still a Jet. I haven’t been told anything. So I’m here to do my job.”

And if the days leading up will be tough for him:

“No, I’m a big believe in what’s meant for you is going to be meant for you. So if that’s a part of my destiny, if it’s not — just take it for what it is.”

Anderson understands that it is a business. He stills wants to be with the now 1-6 Jets, but it doesn't seem as if parting ways will be heart-breaking for him.

Where will Anderson go next? Only time will tell.
