Oh, Todd Bowles. Where are you?

The New York Jets head coach has just revealed his total unawareness concerning one of his quarterbacks. Bowles explained that he had no idea young Christian Hackenberg was going through this big-time throwing form change, via the New York Daily News.

“He hasn’t talked to me about it,” coach Todd Bowles said Saturday. He just worked on it. I’ve learned about it after that fact.”

The only reason this story has legs firmly squatting it is due to the idea Bowles hasn't always been locked into some of the team's unique details through the years—especially concerning the offensive side of the ball.

In reality, it doesn't matter much that Hackenberg is working on a throwing-movement revolution. The second-round product out of Penn State is a lock for the third or fourth quarterback slot on the official depth chart (depending on Teddy Bridgewater's future health).

Additionally, Bowles would never be consulted on such news unless the individual in question is a huge part of the franchise.

Hackenberg, 23, has yet to take even an official NFL snap in two full healthy seasons. With the addition of Sam Darnold to go along with veteran Josh McCown and the aforementioned Bridgewater, Hack is currently on the furthest outer brim while looking in.

The 5-11 New York Jets from a season ago are currently in the midst of rookie minicamp.
