As Juventus is inching closer to offloading Cristiano Ronaldo, the Serie A powerhouse could now be in for a hectic close to the ongoing summer transfer window.

One recent report noted that Juventus is on the verge of sending Cristiano Ronaldo to Premier League side Manchester City in a late blockbuster transfer move. And as Juventus is set to lose a talent who can score 30-plus goals per season, it is now scouring the transfer market for a player who can help to replace his production.

As noted by Italian journalist Romeo Agresti, Juventus is well interested in former Paris Saint-Germain striker and current Everton talent Moise Kean.

Juventus has already established contacts with Kean's agent, Mino Raiola, over a possible transfer deal. The Serie A powerhouse is also monitoring the “total costs” for this possible transfer move.

Juventus would need to accelerate its transfer pursuit of Kean, as the ongoing summer transfer window will come to a close in less than a week.

For the moment, it is not currently known on Everton's interest in pursuing such a move at this stage in the transfer window.

Kean is a former homegrown player with Juventus. The Italian talent made his professional debut with the Serie A giants and went on to feature in two seasons with the team, which included winning four domestic trophies.

The Everton forward recently noted of being “sad” over his departure from Juventus but acknowledged that the time had come for him to leave the club over the 2019 summer transfer window.

Juventus was heavily linked over a possible reunion with Kean last season. However, Kean reportedly was not interested in such a return, as he preferred to stay on with PSG rather than move back to the Serie A powerhouse. He finished with 17 goals in all competitions over his one-season loan stint with PSG.

While new Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri does currently have the likes of Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata as center forward options for his 4-4-2 setup, the club still prefers to sign another such player should Ronaldo go on to sign with Manchester City.
