The Sacramento Kings has been one of the most surprising teams in the league this season. While their record doesn't show it that much, the talented youngsters of the team has shown significant progress in leading the team to a 23-22 record.

It seems that the Kings have impressed the league well enough that several of their players have earned spots in some of the activities during the All-Star weekend.

The team's All-Star participation will be highlighted by Buddy Hield, who will be competing in the three-point contest according to a report by NBC Sports' Dan Feldman.

Hield has been shooting 47% from the field this season. Moreover, he's making 44% of his 3-point shots. He's also putting up 20.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists.

The sophomore guard is best remembered for his performance during the Sacramento Kings' 127-123 loss against the Golden State Warriors earlier this month. Hield stood his ground against arguably the best shooter in the history of the league, Steph Curry.

He's and Steph also share an impressive feat this season as they are the only two players to average at least seven 3-pointers per game and making at least 40% of them.

At this point only Hield is the confirmed participant for the 3-point contest.

De'Aaron Fox, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Marvin Bagley III will also be representing the Kings during the All-Star festivities as they will be part of the Rising Stars challenge.

Fox is also rumored to be receiving a lot of consideration for the Skills competition, but it has yet to be confirmed.
