Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox is not happy with the comments made about him claiming he thinks he's Ja Morant.

Taking to Twitter to respond to ESPN's Amin Elhassan's comments who said Fox think he's Morant, the speedy Kings guard slammed the reporter for involving another person in the conversation. Fox even mentioned how Elhassan's co-workers called him out for his comments.

This stems from Elhassan saying Fox thinks he is Morant.

De'Aaron Fox is in heading into his fourth season in the NBA, all with the Kings. Morant, meanwhile, is just going into his second campaign after winning Rookie of the Year with the Memphis Grizzlies in 2019-20.

While Morant has the accolades and name recognition more than Fox, primarily due to his collegiate career, Fox has the advantage in head-to-head. In their four times facing each other, the Kings are 3-1 over the Grizzlies. Fox has also outplayed Morant in each of their face-offs, including the one loss which was just four days after Fox returned to action following an ankle sprain.

This looks to be a rivalry in the Western Conference that is heating up quickly, especially following the comments of Elhassan's. While Fox has a few years on Morant, Ja is already making a big name for himself in the league.

Even though Fox is not one to compare himself to anyone, the Kings' youngster will remember comments like these to fuel his game going into the 2020-21 season and show the world why they should be paying more attention to him.
