New York Knicks head coach Dave Fizdale is shaking things up with his starting lineup for Wednesday night's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, with rookie Kevin Knox getting the nod along with Emmanuel Mudiay.

Knox was the ninth overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft out of the University of Kentucky. Knox has the potential to be a star, and when given quality minutes on the court he has proven to be a nice source of offense for the Knicks.

Knox saw his minutes substantially rise in the last two games. He averaged 25 minutes in those games as well as 14.5 points while shooting 40.0 percent from beyond the arc. The youngster could be the answer the Knicks desperately need this season with Kristaps Porzingis presumably out for a majority of the season.

In the four games Knox has played over 20 minutes, he reached double digits in scoring in all of them. The Knicks are 4-10 and have averaged 106.4 points per game this season. While expectations for the team were not exactly through the roof, the results have been fairly disappointing so far, and Knox can help boost their offense with his explosive offensive ability.

Fizdale is no stranger to switching things when it comes to his starting rotation, as he already made substantial changes earlier in the season. He is trying to fine tune things now with this young roster in hopes of finding combinations that work.
