The New York Knicks have been without the services of guard Kemba Walker for the past nine games, as the veteran has been dealing with a sore left knee. Walker was set to test the knee in pregame warmups ahead of Tuesday's matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves. As it turns out, the Knicks received a huge boost after the recent Walker injury update from NBA reporter Marc Stein, shortly before the game is set to tip off.

Per Marc Stein, Knicks guard Kemba Walker is available against the Timberwolves and will start. Not only is Walker available to play, but the All-Star point guard will start.

This is a big boost for a Knicks team that has managed to go 5-4 without the services of Walker. The veteran point guard was putting together an excellent stretch of ball before going down, as he exploded for 20-plus points in three games in December, including a season-high 44 in a loss to the Washington Wizards shortly before Christmas.

Walker has had troubles with knee issues in the past, so it makes sense as to why the Knicks were so cautious with his injury.

However, after the recent injury update, Kemba Walker appears fully healthy and ready to help the Knicks earn their fourth win in the last five games against the Timberwolves Tuesday.
