Obi Toppin delivered the finishing blow in the New York Knicks' convincing 121-99 win over the Houston Rockets at Madison Square Garden on Saturday. With the outcome of the game already decided late in the fourth, the high-flying rookie finished a thunderous one-handed alley-oop off a beautiful dish from teammate Kexin Knox.

Check out this high-wire play, which was reminiscent of Toppin's rim-rocking days back with the Dayton Flyers.

Obi Toppin's nuclear hops have always been his main strength heading into the 2020 NBA Draft last year. After seeing him still available on the board, the Knicks quickly snagged up the 22-year-old forward with the eighth overall selection. While it took some time before he earned a spot in head coach Tom Tom Thibodeau's rotation, Toppin is slowly finding his footing in the pros.

The 6-foot-9 freak athlete has noticeably played better since the Knicks' acquisition of Derrick Rose. Against the Rockets on Saturday, Toppin played just 15 minutes but came up with efficient numbers of 11 points, three boards and one block on 5-for-9 shooting from the field.

While several other rookies have overshadowed him this season, it's evident that Toppin is a nice piece for New York moving forward. Prior to Saturday's contest, he was tallying 4.8 points on 47.1 percent shooting from the field for the Knicks.
