The New York Knicks and Reggie Bullock are looking to rework the original contract the two parties agreed upon earlier in free agency. Bullock had previously agreed to a two-year, $21 million contract, but that is now in question as the team is questioning Bullock's fitness to play a full season:

Bullock was traded from the Detroit Pistons to the Los Angeles Lakers midway through last season. He played in only 19 games for the Lakers, averaging 9.3 points and shooting a subpar 34.3 percent from 3. He never became the shooter the team badly needed to give LeBron James extra breathing room.

In his tenure with Los Angeles, Bullock dealt with multiple injuries. He suffered through neck tightness, plantar fasciitis, and foot contusions. This certainly played a part in preventing Bullock from ever hitting his groove.

Now, it seems like some kind of health issue might have followed the North Carolina product to New York. The Knicks will have to do their research in order to make sure Bullock is healthy and ready to play for them, or else the contract could be doomed from the start. It's currently unclear what the issue is.

Hopefully, Reggie Bullock is healthy enough to get the contract he was originally offered, or at least something close. It would be a win-win for both him and the Knicks if he is in top shape and ready to perform at the highest level.
