Tim Hardaway Jr. remains active for the New York Knicks, but he will be a game-time decision as they host the Chicago Bulls at Madison Square Garden.

The 26-year-old guard-forward suffered a back injury in Sunday's loss to the Washington Wizards. Tim Hardaway Jr. received an inadvertent knee from Wizards star John Wall in the first half of the game, and he later admitted that he played with some discomfort in his back.

There were initial concerns that Tim Hardaway Jr. will not be able to play against the Bulls, especially that it's the second game of a back-to-back. However, the Knicks received a huge boost after having him in shootaround.

Now, the team will evaluate the five-year NBA veteran before the matchup with the Bulls to see if he will be given the green light, per Chris Iseman of USA Today.

Tim Hardaway Jr. is one of the few bright spots of the 3-7 Knicks who are still without star forward Kristaps Porzingis. He is averaging a team-high 23.3 points and 3.3 assists per game while shooting 41.7 percent from the field.

The Knicks could really use Hardaway's help, but should he miss the game with the Bulls, Mario Hezonja and Allonzo Trier are expected to get more minutes.
