The New York Knicks are looking to make major moves before the February 10 trade deadline, and according to the latest rumors, Kemba Walker is the likeliest candidate to be dealt away.

As Marc Berman of the New York Post reported, the Knicks have made their “entire roster” available amid a horrendous season that has seen them fall off outside the playoff and play-in picture. Walker's status in New York has been a major talking point all season long, as he has been exiled by Tom Thibodeau earlier in the campaign only to be forced to play him due to the team's injuries and COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

Now, Berman's report gives a new light to the whole situation and why the Knicks are desperate to trade him. Apparently, Thibodeau himself was not high on the Walker signing during the offseason.

According to a source, Thibodeau wasn’t high on the Walker signing. The Post has previously reported he wasn’t all-in on the Reddish trade, either. Thibodeau admitted in Denver on Tuesday that he’s not involved until a deal gets close.

It remains to be seen if the Knicks can actually find a deal for Kemba Walker, but it can be tricky. If they do find a willing trade partner, they might have to give up a few other assets to complete the deal.

Fortunately for fans, the trade deadline is less than 24 hours away and they won't have to wait for long to see if Kemba Walker will remain in the Knicks under Tom Thibodeau by February 11.
