Could one of the best youngsters in the world really be available on a free transfer next summer? Well, it's certainly looking like it. PSG star Kylian Mbappe has informed the club that he will not renew his contract as he heads into the final year of his current deal at the Parc Des Princes, according to L'Equipe.

Kylian Mbappe has reportedly also told several people in his corner that he wishes to move on from PSG, with Real Madrid showing a serious interest in the 22-year-old striker.

It's been a rough couple of days for Mbappe though after missing France's final penalty against Switzerland in the Euro 2020 Round of 16 which saw them get eliminated. He struggled immensely in the tournament, failing to find the back of the net through four matches.

Nevertheless, Kylian Mbappe is still one of the brightest young attackers in the world alongside Dortmund's Erling Haaland. He's also been absolutely clinical during his time in Paris, but the fact that he won't put pen to paper means he is clearly interested in seeing what opportunities will be available in the summer of 2022.

There will be no shortage of suitors for Kylian Mbappe, either. It will be very interesting to see how this whole situation unfolds.
