On Tuesday night, Kyrie Irving played arguably the best game of his career. He scored 50 points on 13 for 19 shooting from the field, leading the Brooklyn Nets to a much-needed victory over the Charlotte Hornets. The win snapped the team's four-game losing streak. Most importantly, it reminded everyone how great Irving is and just how dangerous the Nets can be.

Following Irving's explosion, we decided to reveal the four most awe-inspiring, memorable performances of his career.

4 Most Jaw Dropping Games of Kyrie Irving's Career

4. CHRISTMAS DAY THRASHING OF THE BOSTON CELTICS (DEC. 25, 2020)

On Christmas Day of 2020, the Brooklyn Nets traveled to Boston to square off with the Celtics. Boston had become Irving's nemesis after leaving Boston following the 2017-2018 season. Irving's time in Boston had its highlights, but was mostly underwhelming. That left Celtics fans feeling a certain kind of way.

So, you can bet that Kyrie had a lot of fun on this Christmas Day game. Irving dropped 37 points on 13 for 21 shooting from the floor. He knocked down seven shots from downtown as the Nets hammered the Celtics on the holiday, 123-95.

3. KYRIE IRVING HITS ONE OF THE MOST CLUTCH SHOTS IN NBA HISTORY (JUNE 19, 2016)

This game was not so much an amazing performance throughout as it was the singular moment to define Irving's career.

Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals is considered to be one of the greatest games ever played in NBA history. For one thing, it was a Game 7 of the NBA Finals. That always helps.

But it was also an incredible matchup between Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors and LeBron James and his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers. James had returned to Cleveland for this very game.

In an incredible back-and-forth game, it was tightly contested from beginning to end. With the game tied at 89 and under two minutes remaining, James made arguably the greatest defensive play ever.

James chased down Andre Iguodala from way behind the play and pinned his layup against the backboard for the block. “The Block” as it's now known, was amazing. But so was what Irving did moments later.

With under a minute left, and the game still tied at 89, Irving had Curry guarding him one-on-one. Irving crossed him up to buy enough space to get the shot off. He drained the game-winning three pointer to win the NBA Championship. It was Cleveland's first ever NBA title, thanks in large part to Mr. Kyrie Irving.

2. KYRIE IRVING DESTROYS THE SAN ANTONIO SPURS (MARCH 12, 2015)

This particular game might very well be his best all-around.

On March 12th, 2015, Irving and the Cavs were taking on the defending champion San Antonio Spurs. He was on fire throughout the game, and finished as strong as he started.

Irving finished the game with a career-high 57 points. That is a franchise record that still stands, including anything from LeBron James. But it wasn't just his scoring, his efficiency was off the charts. He shot 20 for 32 from the floor and hit all seven of his three pointers. He also knocked down all ten free throw attempts for good measure. Irving added five assists, four steals, three rebounds and only two turnovers.

With the Cavs trailing by three late, Irving knocked down the triple that sent the game to overtime. He then scored the team's first seven points in overtime to lead Cleveland to a 128-125 victory.

The only reason it did not take the top spot is because it was a regular season game. But let's not take away what he accomplished that night.

1. KYRIE IRVING KEEPS CAVS ALIVE IN 2016 NBA FINALS (JUNE 13, 2016)

Irving and the Cavs would never have even reached the aforementioned Game 7 if not for his performance earlier in the series. Entering Game 5 of the 2016 NBA Finals, Cleveland found themselves trailing three games to one in the series. To that point, no team in NBA history had ever won the NBA Championship when trailing 3-1 in the series. Enter Irving and LeBron James.

James had his usual exquisite game, on this night, it was Irving who stole the show.

Kyrie scored 23 of his 41 points in the second half. He was extremely efficient, knocking down 17 of his 24 shot attempts, and five of seven from downtown. He also chipped in with six assists, three rebounds and two steals.

James said after the game that it was one of the best performances he had ever seen, from anyone. The Cavs staved off elimination, winning 112-97 on the road.
