The Los Angeles Lakers, over the last several days, have been quite busy taking in workouts from various prospects ahead of this year's draft.

With that in mind, Mark Medina of the LA Daily News is now reporting that the team is expected to bring in not only UCLA point guard Lonzo Ball for another workout but also Washington point guard Markelle Fultz for the first time.

This news comes shortly after Los Angeles conducted a second private workout with Kansas swingman Josh Jackson at their practice facility on Tuesday afternoon. The team had also worked out Kentucky point guard De'Aaron Fox in the morning.

Prior to this latest development, it had begun to look like the Lakers were leaning toward Jackson after scheduling a second session with him and the report on Monday is that they may have promised him that they would take him with the second overall pick in the draft.

However, the fact that Los Angeles is bringing back Ball for another look along with Fultz coming in shows that they are still weighing their options. Last week, it was reported that the Lakers were not blown away by the former UCLA product in his individual workout that also raised questions about his conditioning.

This second meeting with the Lakers could provide Ball the opportunity to leave a stronger impression with the organization and cement a convincing reason why they should make him the second overall selection if he's there available on the board.

As for Fultz, it's a chance for him to get a glimpse of the inner working of the franchise. He had previously met with the Lakers at the NBA Draft combine several weeks ago.
