Anthony Davis gave Los Angeles Lakers fans another injury scare after a brutal landing on his right ankle against the Utah Jazz.

X-rays negative on Anthony Davis‘ injured right ankle. Davis has a sprain. He will receive treatment over All-Star break and be re-evaluated when Lakers return.

Given how badly the ankle turn looked on the replay, having the end result be an ankle sprain is definitely welcome news for purple and gold supporters. However, high-grade ankle sprains can certainly keep him on the sidelines for several weeks. With the Lakers just starting to get healthy once more, yet another AD injury will take some of the wind out of their sails.
