The sartorial exploits of Houston Rockets star Russell Westbrook are renowned far and wide, though many of his outfit choices will have people saying “why?” rather than his signature phrase “why not?”

One person who will not be following Westbrook’s zany fashion antics is Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis. AD called Russ his brother, but he said he wouldn’t make the same wardrobe choices as him and would, in fact, fire his designer if he wore the same looks as Brodie.

Of course, Davis is one to talk about fashion choices. After all, he wore a shirt that said “That’s All Folks” in his final game ever at Smoothie King Center after he spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Pels.

AD then claimed that it was not him who put together his outfit, but rather his stylist. Clearly, that must not have been a fireable offense.

In his first year in Los Angeles so far, Davis is playing terrifically well to start the season and has been averaging 24.5 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.2 steals and a career-high 3.2 blocks per game. The Lakers have also zoomed out to an 11-2 record behind Davis and superstar LeBron James.

Westbrook, for his part, has continued to marvel his new Houston team with his stylistics exploits. His numbers are still fairly inspiring at 21.6 points, 8.4 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game – despite losing some usage to James Harden.
