Los Angeles Lakers forward Brandon Ingram is anxiously waiting to return to action after serving a four-game suspension. Ingram received the suspension for his involvement in a brawl against the Houston Rockets, and he got the stiffest punishment of the players involved. Not only did Ingram instigate a brief altercation with Rockets superstar James Harden, he then proceeded to throw several punches in the area of the scuffle started by Rajon Rondo and Chris Paul.

The Lakers have undoubtedly missed Ingram while he has been away from the team. Although they did win two games during his absence, his versatility is beyond valuable. Upon his return to action, Ingram remains confident and believes he'll jump right back into the starting lineup.

Although there hasn't been an announced starting lineup, Brandon Ingram is a very talented player and has served his punishment. We can imagine the Lakers will need his skill set back on the court in a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Lakers are off to a disappointing start this season (2-4), and they will need all the help they can get against the talented Timberwolves (2-4). While both teams are underperforming, the talent both teams possess is high.

In two games this season, Ingram has averaged 14.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks. His stats have exactly jumped off the page just yet, but it speaks volumes when King James himself believes in you.

Brandon Ingram is expected to be a key player for the future and will look to break out when he returns to the court.
