Former NBA player and current ESPN personality Jalen Rose believes there's “no chance” Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant or Kawhi Leonard sign with the Los Angeles Lakers this summer in free agency to team up with LeBron James.

Irving, Leonard and Durant can all become unrestricted free agents after this season ends if they decline their 2019-20 player options with their respective teams:

Kyrie Irving and LeBron James were teammates for three seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers and won the 2016 championship over the Golden State Warriors. Irving then shocked the world in the summer of 2017 when he requested a trade from the Cavs, as he reportedly got tired of playing in the shadow of James.

Even though Irving called James this season to apologize to The King for how he acted during their time together in Cleveland, it's still a long shot that the two superstars become teammates again. Uncle Drew is more likely to sign with the New York Knicks than the Lakers if he decides to leave the Boston Celtics.

If he doesn't return to the Toronto Raptors, Kawhi Leonard has been linked to joining the Clippers over the Lakers. Reports state that Leonard doesn't want to deal with all the hoopla which comes with being on a team with LeBron James.

As for Kevin Durant, the two-time Finals MVP is trying to surpass LeBron as the best player in the game, so joining forces with James and helping him win more rings wouldn't make any sense for KD.
