Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma hilariously took to Twitter to break the news that Jared Dudley could return to the LA lineup this weekend.

Is Kuz trying to be the next Shams or something? I think he will probably make a lot more money with his day job, though. As for Dudley, he’s played just 11 games for the Lakers this season before being diagnosed with an MCL tear.

The veteran opted to not get surgery. He did voice recently that he expects to be back in time for the playoffs. If Kuzma’s “league sources” are any type of indication though, Dudley could be back in a Lakers jersey for their two-game road trip to round out the season in Indiana and New Orleans.

LeBron James is also expected to make a return on Saturday against the Pacers as he continues to make sure there’s no discomfort in his ankle. The Lakers are bracing for the Play-In Tournament at this point as they sit in seventh place in the Western Conference. The Golden State Warriors will likely be their first opponent as well, which is surely going to be must-see TV.

Although Dudley doesn’t play a ton, his presence and experience in the locker room will certainly be felt. LA has now won three straight games, beating the Suns, Knicks, and Rockets in the past week.
