During an interview with Cari Champion and Jemele Hill on Vice TV, Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James revealed he has more of a personal relationship with Isiah Thomas than Magic Johnson.

It was kind of an eye-opening claim since Johnson helped the Lakers sign James in free agency in 2018. Magic was the Lakers' president of basketball operations. However, he resigned from his post during the 2018-19 season during an impromptu press conference at Staples Center.

LeBron James also said he wants people to give Thomas his flowers. The Detroit Pistons legend is, unfortunately, one of the most unpopular players in NBA history since he was part of the Bad Boys era and infamously walked off the court in the 1991 Eastern Conference Finals against Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls after the Pistons got bounced in four games.

Magic Johnson and Isiah Thomas are universally recognized as the best and second-best, respectively, points guards in NBA history. Both guys were superstars with their respective teams and won multiple titles.

James is trying to win his first ring with the Lakers this season. Los Angeles has the best record in the Western Conference standings. They are currently tied with the Portland Trail Blazers at 1-1 in the first round of the 2020 playoffs.

The Lakers have won 16 championships in franchise history. James is looking for title No. 4 in his own career and aiming to add banner No. 17 for the Lakers.
