LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have already played 51 games this season and yet summer free-agent recruit Kendrick Nunn has yet to make his debut. Sadly, it also doesn't sound like the 26-year-old guard is going to suit up in the near future.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel recently provided an update on Nunn and while it does sound a bit optimistic, the fact that there remains to be no clear timetable on Nunn's return date is frustrating, to say the least (h/t Jacob Rude of Lakers SB Nation):

It's good to hear that Nunn is “ramping up” his rehab, but unfortunately, his status remains uncertain. The former Miami Heat stud was on the brink of making his debut in mid-January before suffering a setback in his road to recovery from a bone bruise on his right knee. Since then, the Lakers have refused to pencil in a target date for Nunn's debut.

It sounds like LA is running out of patience on Nunn as well, with the former Illinois and Oakland standout now being linked to a move away from the Lakers. With the deadline fast approaching, the Lakers have been scrambling to try and produce a viable trade package that will hopefully land them a key piece in exchange. At this point, it's very much possible that Nunn gets shipped off even before making his Lakers debut.
