In other Lakers news not concerning Anthony Davis, superstar forward LeBron James will remain out in their showdown against the Philadelphia 76ers, while sophomores Kyle Kuzma (hip) and Josh Hart (knee) are questionable to play, per Ryan Ward of ClutchPoints.

The Lakers have been dealing with a myriad of injuries throughout January. They missed guard Rajon Rondo for a significant amount of time, while sophomore point guard Lonzo Ball got hurt and suffered a severe ankle sprain that will sideline him until after the All-Star break.

James has not suited up since injuring his groin on Christmas Day against the Golden State Warriors.

Los Angeles has struggled throughout James' absence, and have fallen out of the playoff picture. They were at fourth after their huge holiday upset over the defending champs.

Nonetheless, James' looming return will happen sooner rather than later, as there is a chance that he may suit up on Tuesday when the Lakers take on the L.A. Clippers.

Kuzma and Hart both did not participate in practice and will likely be game-time decisions on Tuesday.

Kuzma, who missed last game against Phoenix, has played particularly well since LeBron went down with his injury and has been the Lakers' leading scorer over that stretch. In 13 games, Kuzma has averaged 21.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists while shooting 43.4 percent from the field.

Hart has continued to struggle in his sophomore campaign. For the season, the 30th overall pick of the 2017 draft is averaging just 8.9 points and 4.0 rebounds while shooting just 41.3 percent from the floor and 34.6 percent from deep.

Nonetheless, both players' spots on the Lakers roster are in jeopardy as Pelicans disgruntled superstar Anthony Davis recently requested for a trade out of New Orleans. The Lakers are reportedly going to be aggressive in their pursuit for the once-in-a-generation talent, and these two, especially Kuzma, will be among the trade chips that the Lakers will offer to acquire Davis.
