Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is the greatest basketball player in the world, but he has certainly built up his share of detractors in his career. There are plenty of reasons for this, misguided as they may be, including how he has built superteams to win titles and his demonstrative complaining to the officials.

On Wednesday night in the nation's capital, a heckler yelled at LeBron — who's still out with an ankle injury — and called him a “big baby.” In addition to those other reasons people hate him, this could have been a reference to James still being out with his injury after so long. After all, there are loads of fans who view him as soft despite him being a freight train of a human.

Anyway, LeBron's response to the hater was priceless:

Get those memes ready, folks, because LeBron mimicking crying like a “big baby” is wonderful content. He knows he has plenty of critics out there, and he took this trash talk from a fan in stride.

As for the Lakers' play on the court, they're desperately hoping for their superstar to return ASAP. Even with Anthony Davis back from his own injury, Los Angeles has faltered a bit, including suffering a 116-107 loss to the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night.

The Lakers are only 1.5 games ahead of the Dallas Mavericks for the No. 5 spot in the Western Conference. LeBron James should be back to right the ship very soon, and Los Angeles is hoping to build some momentum heading into the playoffs.
