With the Los Angeles Lakers coming away with a 116-108 victory against the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday in Game 3 of their first-round playoffs series, LeBron James was able to surpass the legendary Tim Duncan in the esteemed list of all-time career playoff wins.

James was asked to comment on his achievement following the big win, and the veteran was quick to heap praise on the great Duncan.

Saturday's victory marked LeBron's 158th career playoffs victory, which allowed him to surpass Duncan for the second spot in the all-time list. The top name on the prestigious list is another Lakers legend in Derek Fisher, who amassed 161 wins in the postseason throughout his decorated career.

With LeBron just needing four wins to surpass Fisher, LeBron James should be able to be the record-holder for most career playoff wins by the end of the Lakers' postseason run this term. That is, of course, barring a catastrophic early exit from LA.

James finished Saturday's win with a game-high 38 points on 11-of-18 shooting, along with 12 rebounds, eight assists and two steals in 34 minutes of action. LeBron did turn the ball over eight times in this one, so that added a sour note to his otherwise stellar performance.

The Lakers have now gone 2-1 up in the series and have put themselves in the driver's seat in this first-round matchup. Nothing is set in stone at this point, however, and Game 4 on Monday will serve to be a pivotal contest in what has become an interesting series against a determined Blazers side.
