After four memorable years with the Los Angeles Lakers, Alex Caruso has officially parted ways with the Purple & Gold. The 27-year-old recently came out with an emotional farewell message for LA and it produced quite an epic reaction from now-former teammate LeBron James.

Unsurprisingly, the comments section was filled with messages of gratitude from the fans as they thank Caruso for all that he's given to the Lakers over the past several years.
LeBron James came across Caruso's farewell message and The King needed just one emoji to express how he feels about all this (h/t Robert Marvi of Lakers Daily):
Based on his single-emoji comment alone, it is clear that LeBron holds Caruso in very high regard. The 6-foot-4 guard has earned the “GOAT” nickname during his time with the Lakers, and LeBron acknowledged that in his response.
Interestingly, another one of Caruso's former teammates in Dennis Schroder (ds17_fg is IG handle) also had a similar reaction. While Schroder has yet to decide on his future, it has become increasingly clear that his future is no longer in LA. Much like Caruso, Schroder is likely going to play in a different uniform next season.
Caruso had a great run with the Lakers and he will forever be remembered as an all-time great. For LeBron, Caruso IS the greatest of all time.
