LeBron James is known to be a fan of football, and he will join the rest of us in finding a comfortable spot to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday night.

Following a victory by the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night, James revealed his family's tradition on Super Bowl Sunday:

After taking part in a double-overtime win against the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night, James is going to take care of his body on Sunday. The superstar forward will then take a nap before the game so he can focus on the game and the commercials.

Given their comparisons as players who have succeeded at their respective sports despite their age, James may be rooting for Tom Brady on Sunday. However, James is also an avid fan of Patrick Mahomes, so he could be watching the game without a rooting interest for either team.

In response to the Super Bowl happening on Sunday, the NBA sent a memo to all employees on following protocols amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The league has informed players to avoid attending any gatherings outside of their own homes.

That won't be a problem for LeBron James. He will be watching the Super Bowl within the confines of his own home with his family. James shared that his family always compiles a list of their top-five commercials on Super Bowl Sunday. Though, due to COVID-19, there likely won't be as many commercials as usual given the financial losses businesses have experienced in the past year.
