Chino Hills have eyes – and mouth – and it comes in the human form of LaVar Ball, arguably the world’s most famous and annoying sports dad.

Just days after seemingly egging U.S. President Donald Trump to engage in a word war with him (so very 2017 I must say), Ball resurfaced in the headlines once again, this time for blaming the Los Angeles Lakers for the struggles of his son, Lonzo Ball, in the player’s first season in the pros.

According to a story by Bleacher Report’s Eric Pincus published on Tuesday, LaVar accused the Lakers’ coaching staff of being a bunch of clueless guys when it comes to using Lonzo.

“They're soft. They don't know how to coach my son. I know how to coach him,” LaVar Ball said. “I tell him to go get the victory. Stop messing around.”

It didn’t take long before Walton got a hold of LaVar’s comments, but unlike the leader of the world’s most powerful nation, Walton opted to take the high road, saying that there’s nothing else he could say about LaVar’s statement, per Shahan Ahmed of NBC Los Angeles.

This is a fail on the part of LaVar if his intentions were just to buy him some more time in the limelight of the news at the expense again of his dignity just like how he always does it. By not trying to respond with anything vitriolic or negative, Walton simply didn’t give LaVar the attention he was looking for.

This, however, isn’t likely to shut up LaVar.
