Los Angeles Lakers head coach Luke Walton didn't take long to get wind of LaVar Ball's comments, even if he is far away in Lithuania.

The often-loud father of rookie Lonzo Ball noted his son wouldn't re-sign with the team unless the organization was willing to bring in his two brothers to play alongside him.

Walton didn't blink as soon as the question was posed.

“It’s not our job of professional teams to respond to what parents have to say,” he told Chris Mannix on The Dan Patrick Show on NBC Sports. “If comments affect Lonzo then we need to have a conversation, but if it doesn’t bother him then we don’t need to have any conversation.”

Lonzo has remained relatively mute, compared to his father, who has taken on the task to do most of the talking for him. The Lakers have reportedly become fed up with the incessant circus the Big Baller has run through town since his son was drafted second overall in last year's NBA Draft.

As far as Walton is concerned, he's figured that he is best off ignoring LaVar's rambunctious comments and finishing out the season the way he had planned.

LaVar is under the impression his kids can play for the team without even being on NBA radars and has the idea that his son has a choice on where to go during his third year, when in fact, he is a four-year conditional holdout, still under the control of the franchise with team-options in 2019 and 2020.
