Rob Pelinka is trying to create a culture. The Los Angeles Lakers' newly assembled roster is expected to contend for a championship next season. Not only do they have two All-NBA team members in LeBron James and Anthony Davis, but they also have a rising star in Kyle Kuzma.

Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka knows how talented those guys are, but he emphasized in a recent press conference that the team wants to have a team-first identity next season.

Aside from Bron, AD, and Kuz, the Lakers have added veterans Danny Green, Avery Bradley, DeMarcus Cousins, and Jared Dudley, who are expected to play significant roles in the Lakers' quest for a title.

Having a team-first identity shouldn't be a problem with the Lakers. They have two of the greatest passers in the history of the league in LeBron and Rajon Rondo. The roster is also constructed in a way that will allow the players to move the ball around in search for an open man.

Of course, James, Davis, and Kuzma are expected to attract double-teams once they decide to penetrate the opposing team's defense, so they will need to be surrounded by people who can knock down open shots or create scoring opportunities of their own. It is something that the Lakers tried to do last season, but the players they got were either inefficient or inconsistent.

Now, they are coming to next season with a more competent roster, and with Bron and AD leading the way, Pelinka believes that this team will be extremely fun to watch.
