The Russell Westbrook era for the Los Angeles Lakers continues to get worse and worse. The losses piling up has understandably made things testy when it comes to media coverage, and Westbrook felt some of that heat after LA's 132-111 drubbing at the hands of their in-arena rival Clippers.

Russell Westbrook was asked a complex question about how his maiden season with the Lakers hasn't gone according to the script Hollywood sent him. Safe to say he didn't appreciate the reported allegedly “envisioning” words into his mouth:

“The season over? Is the season over?” the Lakers star asked back to the reporter.

Westbrook finished 17 points, eight rebounds and three assists in the loss against the Clippers, who won the final game of the series against the Lakers to complete their 4-0 season sweep.

With the Lakers just a game ahead of the 10th placed New Orleans Pelicans and two games out from falling out of the play-in picture entirely, LA's season is far from the fairytale some fans did envision with Russell Westbrook arriving to form a Big 3 with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

As Westbrook said, the season isn't over. But the hole they've dug themselves in is starting to look too deep to climb out of.
