Anthony Davis is gearing up for the coming season with the Los Angeles Lakers. LeBron James has been spending this summer welcoming Davis to the Lakers, even inviting him to Taco Tuesday.

The Lakers big man was present during 2K Day, an event meant to celebrate the launch of NBA 2K20. He took over the NBA 2K Twitter account for a while and answered some fan questions. One of the questions was about his Taco Tuesday experience at the James household. He started it out with a hilarious parody of LeBron's signature screech for the weekly ritual:

After doing the impression, he immediately answered the question:

“It was great, you know. LeBron does it every Tuesday. I've been invited once. He said I wasn't fun enough, so hopefully I get invited back soon and make you guys laugh. If you can, make sure you enjoy Taco Tuesday with LeBron.”

LeBron James and his family have made Taco Tuesday a cherished tradition. In fact, he loves it so much he's trying to trademark the phrase.

Food-related quips aside, James and Davis are teaming up in order to bring the Larry O'Brien Trophy to Los Angeles. They are two fantastic players individually, and fans can only imagine the amount of damage they can do against NBA teams as a one-two punch in the frontcourt.

They have tough opponents throughout the Western Conference, though. The Golden State Warriors are still a threat. The Houston Rockets got a boost with the Russell Westbrook acquisition. The Los Angeles Clippers, the Lakers' perennial little brother, got beefed up with the addition of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. There are a handful of other contenders as well.

It will be interesting to see how the season goes, but Lakers fans hope they will have fun as much as the James family does every Taco Tuesday.
