Famously, Goldin Auctions had set the Guinness World Records title for the most expensive modern sports card ever sold, for the /23 version of the same 2003-04 LeBron James Exquisite card that was shown in the reveal. It garnered a whopping $1,800,000 price tag in July 2020.

Also featured in the video were some other cards of different multi-sport legends, such as a 1958 SGC Pelé, a 1948 PSA Jackie Robinson, and a BGS 9.5 Tom Brady SPX just to name a few.

It's safe to say that Goldin Auctions are ahead of the game right now, as one of the top consignment companies in the industry. They're always offering a ton of big hitters, like a PSA 10 Michael Jordan Fleer 1986-87 rookie and a 2005-06 Upperdeck dual patch autograph featuring both Michael Jordan and LeBron James currently up in their site right now for auction.

Whether or not these investments pay off in the long run, it's a clear indication that the hobby is getting bigger and bigger as we speak.
